    i have a little voice
that talks to me
it tells me what to eat
what to wear
what to say
and what to do
it's not too bossy though
or too loud
i know i don't have to listen
or do what it says
and usually, i don't
because what it tells me to do
is always harder
than what i want to do
but i admit 
sometimes
i do wonder
who i'd be
if i did everything
the little voice
tells me
to do
