Writing is a bit of a miracle when you stop to think about it. The fact that I can combine the same 26 characters in an endless variety of ways to direct your thoughts and emotions toward things that matter for both of us, is pretty special.

I’m grateful to have been born in a place that provided me with an education. I cherish my literacy and my comprehension. I’m grateful to know the 26 letters and how to use them. I’m glad that you know them too. Because of this gift we can share so much with one another.

Colossal Thought is a quiet little nook in a cozy corner of the web where I go to deposit my thoughts for you, dear reader. Please come whenever you like. You matter a great deal to me.
